ahhh...so love yoga...the slow yoga...where I am so present in my body/mind awareness and breath that I feel every fiber of my being. Love feeling the release of the bliss filled energy as I move deeper into a stretch and feel my tight muscles let go. Sigh...so good and so god! Massage from the inside out and outside in....♥

Remember that there are many ways to receive massage therapy. One way to receive is through therapeutic touch, like what I do as a massage therapist. Another way is through using your breath to massage yourself from the inside out. Another way to receive massage is through your own mind in meditative states of heightened mind/body awareness. This happens through opening yourself to the flow of the universe, the flow that is you. This opening within you helps your whole body relax from the inside out. When you are open this way, blood flows easier, serotonin(happiness molecules) get released, and there is a decrease in pain in the body. This is the yoga way of understanding massage through all levels into your body/mind. Many Blessings. ♥
_So so so love what I do...massage therapy and yoga therapy can sometimes be demanding, emotionally, physically and spiritually...and yet I am still amazed at the body/mind. The aliveness, organic pulsation of life flowing through people. We are a 3-d manifestation of our thoughts, our lives, the food we eat...how we think. Almost 12 years..and the insights and realizations just keep getting more beautiful. I am blessed to be allowed to flow into people's body/minds the way I do. The beauty, pain, love, sorrow, peace within people is divine. ♥

This is not a traditional yoga class in terms of learning to do poses, so please have a foundation in yoga practice. Good morning sunshine..I love you....How many senses do you have to soak up the universe? Sight, Sound, Taste, Touch, Smell. The heart is a sensor too. Taste with your heart, through your heart. To...taste with the eyes, taste with the fingers, taste with the ears, taste with the nose, taste with the eyes. You can also taste with your inner eyes.....taste with the entire being of awareness. Every cell in your body has all these senses.....Feel it....mmmm mmmm....it is delicious...♥( a little bit of what we will be working on in the yoga workshop on Dec 10th. The inner massage therapy of your awareness and heart to open deeper to who you truly are).
_It is amusing to me that after almost 14 years practicing yoga..that my brain still tries to get me to find things to avoid communing lovingly with my body/mind. Last night as I began my meditation/yoga time I caught my thoughts saying.."ok lets hurry up and get through this yoga practice and then we can get on with life". So I slowed down more to let go of that stress. Ha ha...as if there is anywhere to be but here and now present in the body, feeling deeply into the vibration that runs throughout..letting go, opening up and allowing that amazing life force to flow....♥ This is how you massage yourself from the inside out....
_Breathing from your heart..or breathing from your fear.....? As you start the inhale...the inhale can come from deep within the heart..first begin with diaphragm breathing.....and then when you have gotten that down...you link the diaphragm breathing openness with the openness of your heart vortex..and create tremendous amounts of energy....and then you will feel breathing from the whole universe into infinity....takes letting go....to really feel it...♥.
Breath is an energy of consciousness and massages the inside of you..physically, emotionally and spiritually....
(If you haven't guessed I love teaching people how to be present in their bodies...when so many are up in their heads...)

Remember in yoga class...you are not in competition with anyone....including yourself. Drop into your body, drop into your being and learn the art of inner seeing...from this place you learn how to honor your heart, your poses, your breath and to feel that divine flow of energy for you. There is no where to be but here and now feeling into your muscles, your tissues, your breath space. So just because someone next to you might be a 'gumby' or a 'pretzel'....remember your body and your awareness are up to you, and even a yoga teacher can not give you that inside of yourself. Yoga is not a quick fix..it a path of focus into yourself to unwind and find the deeper parts of your being of your relaxation and of your own bliss....♥

Hello all...Having lots of conversations with people lately who are feeling overwhelmed and ungrounded. With the holidays quickly approaching sometimes this stress can bring us into critical overload. So please take care of yourselves. Tell us...what are you going to do today and tomorrow and beyond to carve out that time for yourself to replenish, to re-connect? Massage therapy is a wonderful way to do that yes...and I am talking about spending time with yourself alone in quietness..giving back to you. Meditation, yoga, praying....connect to that source within that is ever flowing. You cannot give fully and deeply to others unless you are giving to yourself. You are always worth it..always. Many blessings to you and yours...♥
